EM 251 - Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) Management and Response

Credits: 3

Description
Provides foundational knowledge regarding hazardous materials, their production, common use, consequences of a hazardous materials accident, and possible terrorist uses. The course also provides an introduction to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) categories, impacts, and response implications.

Prerequisite: EM 101  and EM 201
